35 Timezones

Of course we are talking about the Glashütte Original Cosmopolite Ref nr: 89-02-01-05-30 in red gold

A travel watch with a lot of options like 2 timezones, day and night indicator, a timezone ring with 35 IATA codes, power reserve indicator,

a small second and panorama date

The case is 44mm and a white sparkling dial with black painted romans, 3 crowns and a quickset push-button for the date

The small dial for the home time, the window below 12 is the power reserve and the hole over 6 is the day and night indicator for the home time

Beside the big blue hands for the local time is the day and night indicator for the local time with a sun for the day and stars for the night

The window for the IATA airport codes shows both standard time and daylight saving time

Here you can see the disc for the IATA codes for all the timezones

A close look for the quickset date push-button

The case is very comfortable and the watch feels smaller than 44mm it is on the wrist, the sapphire backcase shows the movement

The kaliber 89-02 is a inhouse automatic movement with 2 time zones, a micro rotor, three-quarter plate, 72 hour power reserve with a power

reserve indicator, day and night indicator for both time zones, 28 800 bph, 63 jewels, duplex swan-neck, screw balance with 4 regulation

screws, incablock shock protection, small second hand with second stop and panorama date

There is a lot of different type of finishes on the different parts at the movement to get a great balance, blued screws and 21-ct gold oscillation

weight that make the rotor spin

There is a lot of different things to do in the machine shop to get a great effect

The details withstand a close look

A clearly appealing watch that balance beautifully in white and blue, I prefer the white gold version over this but it's a matter of taste

I want to send the Glashütte Original a very big thanks that let me borrow this watch for the Christmas and the New Year celebration

And a few wristshots.

It was a pleasure to decorate the Christmas tree

And sing carols for the children
