Geneva Report 2024

The best way to start a journey is with some nice food and beers.

We arrive at thursday afternoon and start at a cocktail party in Beau Rivage Hotel where some brands was presented.

Baltic was there too.

I run into a guy with the latest Mad 1 watch.

F P Journe is not often we see in the reality.

Now it is time for some food.

A Cordon Bleu is always a pleasant experience to end the day with.

Of course there is a place for a ice cream too.

New day and a visit at Time To Watches and the first guy we run into was Vincent Calabrese.

Next stop is a brand from The Czech Republic named Robot.

The movement have 8 days power reserve.

Now we need a beer.

Lebois & Co made a classic vintage style chronograph.

Here with the Indian logo.

Behrens have always some different solutions on how to show the time.

No we have to get a Tuk Tuk down to the city.

Geneva is really a great city with all the water.

Just standing in a line to buy nothing. If you are lucky you get a catalog.

Now we are at The AHCI.

Vianney Halters's last one.

Next stop is at the Kudoke family that is more than happy to show their watches.

Then we take a stroll in the Geneva city at the evening.

We just run into a Tivoli.

The big guy will put that car into sleep.

Now it is time for some food and beer's.

Next day we visit The Beau Rivage Hotel and check out some brands.

We start with Reservoir and their new 390 Fastback.

A few new Pop Eye's.

This is for the Only Watch 2023.

Next stop is HYT that is back on track again with their liquid filled watch.

The movement is really unique.

I really like this one with the fabric strap.

Now we find a really unique piece made by the innovator Dominique Renaud and the watchmaker Julien Tixier.

This movement is loaded with unique things like the micro rotor have a auxiliary mechanism that stores energy and releases it like a catapult. So it wind the movement even if you for example not move around a lot during the day.

I got the chance to check out Mr Reanud's personal "home made" watch.

The movement sit in a glass tube that you can turn around.

So you can show different parts of the movement, you can turn it when you have it on your wrist.

We have a really interesting conversation with Mr Renaud.

Next stop was at Singer that have some cool stuff. A mecanical watch with a 24 hour chronograph that keep track on the time how long you have to chill for next dive and when you can fly after a dive.

Here you can timing the flavour of you cocktail when you timing the melt of the ice.

And here how you want you coffee.

Next stop was at Schwarz Etienne

Now we hit the Czapek booth.

A colorfull green one.

The blue Czapek Promenade is may favorite release this year. This dial is something else in reality.

Another dial with a cool effect.

Next stop was at A Lange & Söhne and take a look at their Datograph Flyback.

And the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon "Lumen"

There is a lot going on here.

It is hard to get the lumen showing correct.

But they have  made a darkroom to show it better.

It is great that Moser are back at The Geneva show, it was a few years since we visit them.

The Pioneer Centre Seconds Concept Citrus Green really pops up.

There is lume in both hands and the chapter ring.

The Streamliner Perpetual Calendar when less is more.

The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton.

Hautlence made some different watches.

Because they can.

And finally we got someting nice to end the trip with.

We start slowly.

Now we talking.

And of course I have to get a dessert alone.
